As one, we are but a small piece, as a whole, we are a strong community.
A little over one year now in our brand new office space at 500 South Broad Street, we’re nearing completion of our interior design and re-branding initiatives. We have however saved one of the most exciting parts of the project for last – the Record Journal 150th Commemorative Brick Program.
In honor of this historic milestone, and our former Crown Street location, we will soon be installing a decorative vinyl brick wall wrap in our ‘Crown Street’ conference room. The Citizens of our community and business partners that we’ve served for over 150 years have the opportunity to 'engrave a brick' with a personalized message and become part of our commemorative brick wall.
We’re very excited to announce this unique opportunity – 150 years in the making.
Over the next several months the Record-Journal is offering the chance to buy a ‘brick’ for the commemorative wall and also be featured in print and online over the course of our year-long 150th Anniversary Celebration. It is a chance for you or your business to share a message, your family or business name, dedication or memory.
We are looking forward with great anticipation to having the local community and our deep rooted history in Central Connecticut displayed proudly in our new space.
In our continued commitment to our community a portion of the proceeds from this program will be donated to our local United Way.
